Site Engineer

Townmore seeking Project Managers to join our successful, growing delivery team.

Role:

A Degree in Civil Engineering is essential with a proven track record as a Site Engineer. You will have a minimum of five years’ experience setting out and dealing with various trades on site.

Previous employment with a Developer, Main Contractor or large Specialist Subcontractors in Ireland or the UK would be advantageous.

Competent and experienced in the areas of:

    • Setting out,
    • Site supervision and record keeping,
    • Subcontractor supervision & coordination,
    • Quality Control & Management.

 

Health & Safety:

    • Hold a current Solas Safepass Card & a manual handling cert,
    • Other qualifications an advantage including:
    • Locating Underground Services,
    • Signing Lighting & Guarding of Road Works,
    • Managing Safety in Construction,
    • First Aider

 

  Experienced in:

    • Residential developments,
    • Site infrastructure / development works,
    • Precast & In-situ Concrete works.

 

Proficient in the use of:

  • AutoCAD, & MS Office,
  • Leica Survey Instruments & Icon Software,
  • Leica Robotic Total Stations, GPS, etc.
  • Competent and experienced in the areas of
  • Setting out,
  • Site supervision and record keeping,
  • Subcontractor supervision & coordination,
  • Quality Control & Management.

 

The Requirements:

  • A third level qualification in construction management / engineering is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years + site/project management experience
  • A strong motivational attitude combined with keen managerial skills coupled with strong commercial awareness are essential.
  • Excellent people and client management skills.
  • Excellent references and a good track record in the industry.
  • Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
  • You will have a desire to succeed and to help us to grow our business.
