Townmore: ICE Awards 2022 Finalist
Townmore is delighted to be named as a finalist in the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2022!
Category: Residential – Social & Affordable Housing Over €10m
Project: St. Doolagh’s Oaks
We are delighted to see one of our most important social housing projects announced as a finalist in the 2022 Irish Construction Excellence Awards. The annual Irish Construction Excellence Awards programme – organised by the media group behind Irish building magazine – is the longest established, independent recognition of building excellence for construction contractors in Ireland.
About the project
St. Doolagh’s Oaks, Carrs Lane in North Dublin is arguably one of the most appealing, and well located, social housing developments in Ireland. Situated on a mature, tree-lined site, just off the Malahide Road, the development plays host to 59 new homes, together with car and bike parking, and communal green space. The apartments are a mix of one-bed, two-bed and three-bed homes across two blocks, each four-storeys, with walkways running along the building providing a unique and attractive façade.
We are particularly proud to see this project recognised as, throughout the construction, the site played host to both an Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, and the Housing Minister, Darragh O’Brien: https://townmore.ie/news/townmore-an-taoiseach-and-the-housing-minister-visit-site-of-future-social-housing/
This industry award and recognition is shared with our client, Bluemont, and amongst our project delivery partners Opperman and Associates, PHM Consulting, and Tom Phillips and Associates.
Irish construction excellence is a shared ambition and the Townmore team are proud to play our part in delivering on this ambition. Well done to our fellow finalists, in this and other categories https://iceawards.ie/finalists2022/#25, and best wishes for the Awards Gala!
