Works on New Primary Care Centre for Cobh Progress

The Townmore team is currently working to deliver the company’s fourth Primary Care Centre. This latest PCC is located in Cobh, County Cork and will be a great local addition for the people of Cobh, bringing much needed state-of-the-art medical facilities to the town.

Works include the construction of a new 30,000 square foot Primary Care Centre over three storeys, comprising GP Suites, Treatment Rooms, HSE Accommodation and ancillary medical units,  adjacent to the existing retail centre anchored by SuperValu.

Our most recent project update from Cobh showed the site team undertaking a 100m3 pour,  you can view the pour in progress here: https://townmore.ie/news/townmore-project-update-cobh-primary-care-centre/

This month, works on site are progressing further. The roof is now on, the blockwork is complete up to parapet level, and the windows have been installed across all floors.

Internally, the fit-out is coming along nicely. The partition walls are being completed and the electrical and mechanical team is well underway with the second fix commencing on the first floor.

Outside the building, the external plastering is scheduled to start next week and this will be followed by the removal of scaffolding, which is always an exciting project milestone. At that stage, the remaining groundworks will be completed.
